An Austin tradition since 1976, the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is one of Austin's most popular annual events. Not only is it a terrific place to shop for holiday gifts (or for yourself), but it's also one of the best artistic and music events of the year.
Conveniently located at the Palmer Events Center on Barton Springs RD (a new location for 2010), there's also plenty of (paid) parking.
Other features include a full bar and a popular operational post office for you to mail out Christmas cards with an Armadillo postmark.

The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is actually a first rate music festival with 3 separate performances each day (and four on December 20, 2010).
