Austin Apnea and Snoring Therapy

Austin Apnea and Snoring Therapy is a North Austin dental practice specializing in treating sleep apnea and Oral Appliance Therapy. The practice is operated by Dr. Martin Denbar , and is conveniently located off the west side of MoPac near Spicewood Springs RD.

Oral Appliance Therapy is an alternative to (but can also be combined with) traditional CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machines and masks used for the treatment of sleep apnea. Oral Appliances are FDA approved and are designed to treat sleep apnea by adjusting the jaw position and affecting the muscle tone of the tongue during sleep as opposed to the CPAP's use of air pressure to keep airways open.

Dr. Denbar received his bachelor's degree from the University of Houston; received his DDS from the UT-Houston Dental Branch in 1975; has been practicing Oral Appliance Therapy since 1995; on consulting staff for Seton Hospital; provided dental services for the Navy and Marines for two years; Fellow of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine; has been in private practice since 1977
