Of course, a lot of the events and festivals this month involve keeping cool or celebrating at night - the Austin Ice Cream Festival, the Deep Eddy Mile, the Moonlight Margarita Run, and Batfest. Even as the summer scorches on, it also begins to end - Blues on the Green wraps up this month as does the Austin Symphony's free Sunday evening concerts and the outdoor Zilker Summer Musical.
