The course will remain open for 7 hours, and all finishers (within that time frame) will receive a commemorative medal (and a shirt).

The Austin race is a popular course for runners. According to race organizers, 80% of the runners come from outside Austin. It's also the fastest course in Texas.
And since this is Austin, there's plenty of live music--up to 40 bands--all along the course.
