Austin Pond TourJune 11-12, 2011 Multiple Austin Locations - South and North 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Sat & Sun) Tickets - $15 - $20 (Depending on when purchased) The Austin Pond Tour has been an annual Austin tradition since 1995. Organized by the Austin Pond Society, this self-guided, open house style tour features a variety of constructed ponds all over the Austin area, from the do-it-yourselfer to the professionally designed and installed, and from the whimsical to the formal. Additional Austin Resources: Austin Gifts & More - Special Seasonal Offers, Daily Deals, and More The event is broken up into two days (both 9:00 am to 5:00 pm), with Saturday (6/11/2011) reserved for 13 North Austin locations and Sunday (6/12/2011) featuring 11 South Austin locations. This is a great opportunity for those considering adding a pond or other water feature to their residence. Not only do you get to see some very interesting and notable ponds, you also get access to the homeowners and professionals who built them and have some of your questions answered. Prior to the event, tour guide information and maps are made available on the Austin Pond Society website.
