The Austin Songwriters Symposium features workshops and discussions for musicians looking to further their careers and gain insights into the song publishing business. Featured instructors include both working musicians as well as representatives from the music publishing industry. The annual three day event has been organized by the Austin Songwriters Group since 2005. There are typically workshops on topics including pitching songs, live performance, studio production, touring, co-writing and more.
