Sunday Evenings
June 3, 2012 - August 26, 2012
7:30 pm
Hartman Concert Park at the Long Center
Admission - Free
The Hartman Foundation "Concert in the Park" series has been a very cool summer tradition since 2003.
Held at the Hartman Concert Park at the Long Center for Performing Arts on Sunday evenings from June through August, the free concerts feature a different ensemble of the Austin Symphony each week.
The performances begin at 7:30 pm and are a great location to spread out a blanket and enjoy a late picnic along with a variety of different music, including classical, jazz, and even film scores.

Free parking for the event is available at the One Texas Center located at Barton Springs RD and S. First ST. This isn't exactly a long hike, but it's not as convenient as the Palmer Events Center parking garage which provides parking for both the Palmer Events Center and the Long Center. The cost there is $7.
