The Austin Symphony's 4th of July Concert and Firework show typically draws 100,000 people to Auditorium Shores and the vicinity, making it one of the biggest annual events in Austin.The music begins at 8:30 pm (right around dusk) with a 30 minute firework show following at 9:30 pm.

This is a fun event for the kids and, if you get there early enough with blankets and lawn chairs, a nice place for a picnic. Bring your own meal (but no alcohol) or else snag something from one of the many vendors.
