Austin Wine and Music Festival
May 28-29, 2011
The Domain
Tickets/Passes: $35-$65 (free admission 15 and under)
Since it debuted in 2007, the annual Austin Wine and Music Festival (originally known as just the Austin Wine Festival) has only grown in popularity. With participation by more than 25 Texas wineries (located in individual winery tents) along with an expected attendance in excess of 6500 in 2010, the Memorial Day Weekend event looks like it's here to stay.
The festival seems a perfect fit hosted at The Domain, the upscale residential, retail, and dining mixed-use eco and pedestrian friendly community in northwest Austin.
Whether you're a wine lover eager to sample Texas Hill Country vineyards, or if you're just looking forward to a relaxed and sociable weekend, this is a terrific event.
There will also be a brewery tent for those interested in sampling local artisan beers.
Additionally, numerous gourmet food and wine accessory vendors with one of a kind items and gifts also participate in the festival.
