Ballet Under the Stars is the annual production by the Austin Metamorphosis Dance Ensemble at Austin's very cool outdoor Zilker Hillside Theater . AMDE is an extension of the Metamorphosis Dance Academy in Round Rock.

The theme or title of the 2012 two night performance is "The Best of AMDE."

Zilker Hillside Theater hosts a variety of performances throught the year. Productions are free, family-friendly, and open to the public, although donations are typically solicited during an intermission period.

You're encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair, but please note: the evening will be much more enjoyable with the lawn chair.
