Eat the Heat is an annual progressive cocktail party organized by the Austin Chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE). In addition to a fun evening full of great food and drinks, the annual gala also functions as a fundraiser for a local Austin charity.

The 2010 fundraising recipient is Breast Cancer Research Center.

About Austin NACE (official description): NACE is the oldest and largest professional association that addresses all aspects of the catering industry. The Austin Chapter of NACE is comprised of our local event professionals. Membership includes representatives from all facets of the event industry: caterers, event planners, décor rental companies, DJ's, Photographers, Florists and many more. This event is produced each year through the generous donations of our membership who provide not just their products and services but their time.
