Fiesta Amistad is the largest two day Hispanic festival in Central Texas and has been celebrated since 1970.
The two day Memorial Day weekend event features nearly non stop live music, lots of great food vendors, a classic car show, and even some structured children's games and contests.
Note: Lawn chairs are allowed; ice chests are NOT.
The scheduled 2010 music headliners are
Michael Salgado (Saturday May 29, 2010) and Los Texmaniacs featuring Flaco Jimenez (Sunday May 30, 2010). You can also check out the full musical lineup for Fiesta Amistad.
The event functions as a fundraiser for
El Amistad Club of Round Rock. The group's mission is "to support efforts emphasizing education, community services, veterans recognition and Hispanic cultural awareness."
