Hyde Park Theatre's annual alternative and fringe theater festival has been running in Austin since 1994.

The festival is divided into four components:

  • The Short Fringe @ Hyde Park Theatre - January 12 - February 13, 2010 - Features 4 or 5 shorter plays per evening.

  • The Long Fringe @ the Salvage Vanguard Theater - January 19 - 31, 2010 - Features regular length productions.

  • Mi Casa Es Su Teatro @ Various Locations - February 6, 2010 - Various and simultaneous performances across multiple locations.

  • BYOV (Bring Your Own Venue) - Performances of In This House (Everything is You) - January 21-24, 2010 at Eponymous Gardens (1202 Garden ST). Very limited seating - see site for additional information and tickets.
