Jugglefest
February 26-28, 2010
University of Texas Campus
Admission: $8-$10 (Free with UT Student ID)
An Austin tradition since 1994, the annual Jugglefest is a three day celebration of juggling and jugglers. There's also a unicycling component to the event.
The festival is a working festival, and a laid back, informal one at that, with plenty of emphasis on workshops, contests, and games. Hosted on the UT campus, admission is modest (and free to UT students).
Typically, there is also a free public show one evening during the festival. In 2009, it was held at the Texas School for the Deaf - details for the 2010 show will be updated once that information gets finalized.
2010 special guests include Michael Rosman and Jen Slaw.
The event is sponsored/organized/supported by the Texas Juggling Society, the University Co-op, and by the City of Austin and the Texas Commission on the Arts.
Check out the short video below, especially the "combat juggling" section that begins around 0:20.
