The Lone Star Jam is a full day Austin Music Festival celebrating Texas Country and Red Dirt Music . The annual Austin event first began in 2008. Proceeds benefit Young Texans Against Cancer , a nonprofit organization with chapters in Austin , Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.

Micky and the Motorcars
No Justice

Obviously there will be plenty of cash only vendors, but definitely check out the list of prohibited items. It's pretty long and thorough (no water! no umbrellas? - it's hard to say whether you'll want it to rain or not with that combination of restrictions). Also, all visitors are subject to search upon entry . . . Go, freedom!

NEW: Please be aware this music festival has a new home for 2012 - the big lawn area at the LBJ Library .
