This series of free, family-friendly, outdoor concerts held at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum on Friday nights in July first began in 2004 (the museum opened in 2001).

In addition to the free concerts, you'll typically find some limited free food offerings as well. Past seasons have included Rudy's BBQ, Mighty Fine Burgers, and Blue Bell Ice Cream.

Lone Star Beer has been another sponsor in the past, but those you'll have to pay for.

(You're encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs but not coolers or outside refreshments).

The concerts run from 6-9 pm but there are breaks between sets giving you plenty of time to visit and check out exhibits inside the museum.

Parking at the underground onsite parking garage is also free during the event.
