Pachanga, or "lively party," is a relatively new Austin music festival, having debuted in 2008.
Located at Fiesta Gardens (allowing for more than one stage), there's definitely plenty of room for lively partying. The musical lineup has grown and includes numerous quality acts from Austin and beyond.
[Or, as the official website states: The Pachanga lineup includes everything from rock, alternative, tejano, mariachi, cumbia, salsa, electronic, funk, hip-hop and indie rock with one singular theme, the sound is brown.]
Although the primary draw is the Music, the Pachanga Latino Music Festival also features an ample selection of food vendors representing some awesome local establishments.
Additionally, there's always a diverse selection of artists and artisan vendors.
And the festival is family friendly with free admission for those 12 and under along with an area dedicated to kids activities.
