Since 2000, the Red Poppy Festival has ushered in spring to Georgetown (just 20-30 minutes north of Austin).

The two day family friendly festival features a great selection of artisan vendors, a classic car show, parade, a kids village, and plenty of live music and entertainment (including an outdoor Saturday night concert and street dance - the 2011 Red Poppy Headliner is Mark Chestnut).
