Held at Auditorium Shores during the annual Texas Relays weekend in April each year, Austin's Urban Music Festival is a family-oriented music and food festival.

With upwards of 50,000 visitors to Austin during the Relays, the Urban Music Fest caters to those who prefer something more family friendly than what 6th Street offers. It's also grown into a popular Austin music event for locals as well.

The festival first began in 2006.
