How many festivals can you go to and sample upwards of 50 fine whiskies from Scotland and the British Isles?
The Whisky Festival is organized and hosted by Opal Divine's, at the Austin restaurant's S. Congress location known as Penn Field. Hors d'oeuvres including Scottish style salmon and a selection of fruits, cheeses, and smoked meats will also be served. The annual event began in 2003, I believe, and benefits Meals on Wheels and More (which was the Real Austin Texas featured Austin nonprofit for September 2010).
